How Aloevera is Benificial For Skin

Aloe vera is the oldest medicinal plant on earth. It is ever known and used in cosmetics from centuries in all over world, a traditional system of medicine. Both of them have many biologically active components, mainly anthraquinones and polysaccharides (the most active is acemannan), which may act alone or in synergy.

Cosmetics formulations derived from Aloevera have a high potential due to their antioxidant activity. Aloevera contains over 75 nutrients and 200 active compounds also antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E, flavonoids, and phenolic acids play the main role in fighting against radical species which are the main cause of numerous negative skin changes. Even this isolated plant compounds have a high potential or capabilities in protection of the skin, whole herbs extracts showed better potential due to their complex composition.

Scientific studies provide support for the application of AloeVera in cosmetic moisturizers and products are available in the form of moisturizing cream, lotion, shampoo and deodorant.  Numerous scientific studies on AloeVera demonstrating its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, immune modulating and anti-tumour activities as well as antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
